Arts Huntsville announces 10-week free concert series lineup

Summer evenings in downtown Huntsville will soon fill with live music again as the city’s popular Concerts in the Park series returns, according to online reports.

Free Concert Series Returns to Big Spring Park

Arts Huntsville and Huntsville Parks & Recreation announced the 2026 Concerts in the Park lineup, bringing 10 weeks of free performances to Big Spring Park.

The weekly series begins June 1 and continues every Monday evening through August 3. Performances will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, and leashed pets are welcome.

Organizers say the event highlights local music while creating a community gathering space during the summer months. In addition, food trucks and local vendors will offer dining options throughout the event area.

2026 Concert Lineup Features Local Talent

This year’s lineup includes artists across rock, country, jazz, R&B, and contemporary music styles. Scheduled performances include:

June 1 — Groovy Neighbors and JUICE

June 8 — Maneuver Center of Excellence Band (Fort Benning)

June 15 — Rocket City Jazz Orchestra and Groove

June 22 — J Class Band and Jamar

June 29 — Ty Blackwell and Brett Carlisle & the Mason Jar Prophets

July 6 — Bloom After Fall and The Backbeat Band

July 13 — Jayne and the Huntsme and SIMEON

July 20 — The Grasstronauts and The Brooklines

July 27 — Lana White & The Heights and Triple Play

August 3 — Surprise lineup

The June 8 performance will also serve as part of Huntsville’s Armed Forces Week celebrations and feature patriotic music alongside popular selections.

Community Tradition Continues This Summer

Event organizers said Concerts in the Park remains one of Huntsville’s most recognizable summer traditions. Therefore, the series continues to focus on showcasing local performers while encouraging residents to gather outdoors.

Officials also encourage attendees to support food vendors or bring picnic setups for a more relaxed experience. With weekly entertainment and open green space, the event is expected to once again attract large crowds to downtown Huntsville.
