Huntsville is getting national attention for its ramen, with Kamado Ramen earning the top spot for Alabama in a new state-by-state ranking.
Kamado Ramen named Alabama’s top ramen spot
Tasting Table recently included Kamado Ramen in its list of the best ramen restaurants in every state. The publication highlighted restaurants based on food quality, menu variety, local sourcing and the overall dining experience.
According to online reports, the Huntsville restaurant stood out for its take on classic ramen dishes and its welcoming atmosphere.
The recognition adds another accolade to Huntsville’s growing food scene. Kamado Ramen has also become a familiar name for locals looking for Japanese-inspired comfort food.
Two Huntsville locations to try
Kamado Ramen currently has two Huntsville locations. One operates at Stovehouse, while the other is located in MidCity.
The Stovehouse location received particular attention in the ranking. Tasting Table described the restaurant as having a lively urban setting and praised its service.
That location serves a variety of ramen bowls, including tonkotsu and kimchi ramen. The menu pairs traditional flavors with ingredients such as pork broth, wheat noodles, egg noodles, beef and eggs.\
