Huntsville Transit is hosting a job fair this week to recruit new bus drivers and promote careers in public transportation, according to online reports.

Huntsville Transit will hold a driver recruitment event and open house on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the Huntsville Transit Office on Church Street Southwest.
In addition, officials say the job fair is designed to connect applicants with career opportunities in public transit while showcasing how the system operates.

Attendees will learn about available positions, including paid commercial driver’s license (CDL) training. Information on salaries, benefits, and long-term career paths will also be provided.
