Huntsville program lets students earn while training for Boeing jobs

Boeing is partnering with Drake State Community & Technical College to launch a new apprenticeship program in Huntsville, according to online reports.

New Apprenticeship Program Launches in Huntsville

Boeing and Drake State Community & Technical College will introduce a technical training program on June 17 in Huntsville. The initiative focuses on defense and advanced manufacturing skills.

In addition, participants will earn pay while they learn, making the program both educational and job-focused.

Paid Training Leads to Boeing Job Opportunities

The program offers a direct pathway to employment with Boeing in Huntsville. Specifically, graduates may move into roles within the company’s PAC-3 Seeker program and Electronic Center of Excellence.

Training will take place on the Drake State campus. As a result, students will gain hands-on experience while preparing for careers in advanced manufacturing.

Enrollment Opens at Official Launch Event

Enrollment for the program will open during the launch event scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on June 17.

The event will be held at Drake State’s S.C. O’Neal Library and Technology Center in Huntsville.
