Valentina’s Pizzeria in Madison has earned international recognition after ranking No. 86 on the 50 Top Pizza World 2026 list.
A major milestone for a North Alabama pizzeria
The restaurant was recognized during 50 Top Pizza’s annual awards event in Naples, Italy. The global ranking follows another major achievement earlier this year, when Valentina’s placed No. 12 among pizzerias in the United States.
The Madison restaurant also received recognition on the organization’s 2026 dessert list, adding another distinction to its growing list of honors.
Valentina’s puts Madison on the global pizza map
Located on Huntsville-Brownsferry Road, Valentina’s has built its menu around several pizza styles, including thin artisan pies, Sicilian, Detroit-style and cauliflower crust options.
Popular choices include The Godfather, a meat-heavy pizza, and the Cam-A-Roni, which combines old-world pepperoni with ricotta and hot honey. The restaurant also serves Italian cheesecake, house-made tiramisu, cannoli and chocolate mousse.
A family business with a local focus
Owner Joe Carlucci has credited the restaurant’s team for the recognition, highlighting the staff members who prepare the food, run the kitchen and serve guests.
The restaurant takes its name from Carlucci’s daughter, Valentina, with hopes that she will eventually continue the family business. Now, with the restaurant recognized on an international stage, the achievement also brings attention to Madison and North Alabama’s growing food scene.
