Huntsville Airport expands dining with three new restaurant

Huntsville International Airport has added three new dining options for travelers, according to online reports.

New Dining Options Open at HSV

Huntsville International Airport (HSV) recently announced the opening of three new restaurants inside its terminal. The additions include Rocket City Bar & Grill, Rocket City Express, and Everbowl.

Together, these new concepts expand food choices and improve convenience for passengers. In addition, they add more variety for both short visits and longer layovers.

What Travelers Can Expect

Rocket City Bar & Grill offers a full-service dining experience inspired by North Alabama’s innovative culture. It features table service, cocktails, wine, and beer. The menu includes Southern-style favorites such as Conecuh sausage, smash burgers, and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches.

Meanwhile, Rocket City Express focuses on quick, grab-and-go options. Travelers can choose from sandwiches, salads, wraps, and coffee. As a result, passengers with tight schedules can still get a fresh meal.

Everbowl adds a healthier option to the lineup. It serves açaí bowls, smoothies, and other nutritious items. Therefore, travelers now have more balanced food choices inside the terminal.

Airport Leaders Highlight Growth and Future Plans

Officials said all three restaurants serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also allow passengers to dine in or take meals to their gates. The dining area sits between Gates 3 and 5 and includes table and high-top seating with airfield views.

Joey Ceci, Board Chair for The Port of Huntsville, said the airport experience reflects the city’s growth. “As one of the fastest growing and most innovative communities, our airport should reflect that energy,” he said.

In addition, HSV CEO Butch Roberts encouraged travelers to arrive early and enjoy the new spaces. He said the upgrades are part of a larger effort to improve the terminal.

Finally, airport officials noted that more improvements are on the way. Future projects include upgraded gate seating and restroom renovations between Gates 7 and 9.
