Salt + Light has expanded from a popular Huntsville food truck into a permanent storefront, bringing its signature sandwiches, entrees, and prepared meals to a new South Huntsville location.
Salt + Light Opens Permanent Huntsville Location
The restaurant is now serving customers at 11243 Memorial Parkway SE in Huntsville.
Known for its creative menu and handcrafted dishes, Salt + Light has built a following through its food truck operations. The new storefront allows guests to enjoy the same menu in a permanent setting.
The restaurant offers a mix of comfort food favorites, elevated dishes, and convenient grab-and-go meals designed for customers looking for quick options or a full meal experience.
Menu Features Signature Sandwiches and Entrees
Salt + Light’s menu includes a variety of sandwiches, tacos, sides, and specialty entrees.
Popular choices include the Shrimp Po’ Boy, featuring crispy fried Gulf shrimp with chipotle tartar sauce on French bread, and the Fat Nasty Burger, a half-pound burger topped with bacon, multiple cheeses, caramelized onion jalapeño fig jam, and house-made pickles.
Guests can also find dishes such as cornmeal-crusted catfish served with pimento cheese polenta, steak and shrimp, Korean-style barbecue chicken, and pan-seared salmon with risotto.
The menu also includes options like shrimp tacos, wings, vegetable paninis, chicken paninis, desserts, drinks, and ready-to-reheat grab-and-go meals.
South Huntsville Restaurant Adds More Dining Options
In addition to made-to-order meals, Salt + Light offers prepared food options for customers who want convenient take-home meals.
The grab-and-go selection includes items such as beef and potatoes, burritos, and chicken salad, giving customers more flexibility for busy schedules.
The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at its Memorial Parkway location.
With its move from food truck favorite to permanent restaurant, Salt + Light is continuing to grow its presence in the Huntsville dining scene while offering a mix of familiar favorites and new menu options.
