SushiMe Asian Bistro has opened its second North Alabama location in downtown Athens, bringing its mix of sushi, Asian dishes, soups and noodles to a new community.
A new downtown Athens dining spot
Located at 116 N Jefferson St, the new restaurant gives diners another option for sushi and Asian-inspired meals in the heart of Athens. The menu features everything from sushi and sashimi to hot appetizers, noodle dishes and traditional Asian entrees.
Lunch specials are also available Monday through Saturday, including sushi combinations, roll combos and lunch plates served with soup or salad.
Sushi, signature rolls and more
The menu offers a broad selection of sushi and sashimi, with options such as tuna, salmon, yellowtail, eel and shrimp. Diners can also choose from classic rolls including California, Philadelphia, spicy tuna and shrimp tempura.
For something more distinctive, SushiMe’s signature rolls include the Rocket City Roll, Dragon Roll, Roll Tide Roll, Volcano Roll and King Kong Roll. The restaurant also serves cooked dishes such as General Tso’s chicken, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, pad Thai, lo mein and Singapore noodles.
Athens location now serving customers
Beyond sushi and entrees, the menu includes appetizers such as shrimp tempura, pork gyoza, vegetable tempura, fried calamari and crab cheese wontons. Soups include miso, hot and sour, egg flower, tom yum and seafood soup.
The Athens location is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
