National contrast therapy studio SWTHZ is expanding into the Huntsville market, bringing its private, science-backed recovery experience to The Shops at Merchants Walk later this year.
A national wellness brand arrives in Huntsville
According to real estate developers RCP Companies, SWTHZ has signed a lease for a 3,457-square-foot space in Suite 310 at 920 Bob Wallace Avenue SW.
Each visit offers clients access to a private contrast therapy suite equipped with a full-spectrum infrared sauna, cold plunge, vitamin C shower, and in-suite entertainment. Founded in 2019, the fast-growing brand surpassed 100 locations in 2026.
Local entrepreneurs lead the expansion
The Huntsville studio will be owned and operated by Lindsay and Ryan Hirsowitz, health and wellness entrepreneurs who previously launched a successful SWTHZ location in Birmingham.
Lindsay, a licensed physical therapist, and Ryan, a retired dentist, bring clinical backgrounds to the business. Lindsay noted that the studio aims to fill a gap in healthcare by making purposeful recovery a seamless part of clients’ daily routines.
Growing health and wellness cluster
Joining SWTHZ at the center is Men’s Wellness of North Alabama, a veteran-owned practice founded by Joshua Rogers, MS, MPAS, PA-C. The clinic offers primary care, hormone optimization, weight management, and hair restoration.
Together, the two new tenants reinforce a growing wellness lineup at The Shops at Merchants Walk, which already includes Whole Foods Market, Orange Theory Fitness, and StretchLab.
