Randolph School is moving forward with plans for a new Lower School campus designed to support future growth and enhance learning opportunities for students.
The project will create a purpose-built facility that brings younger students closer to the school’s unified campus vision.
New Lower School Planned for Garth Road Campus
According to information shared by HASTINGS Architecture, the new Lower School will span approximately 80,000 square feet on Randolph School’s Garth Road campus. The building will serve approximately 484 students and replace the current Lower School located on the Drake campus.
The project supports Randolph School’s 2023 Campus Master Plan, which focuses on long-term growth and creating a connected PreK–12 learning environment.
Designed to Inspire Young Learners
The new facility will include bright classrooms, flexible learning spaces, and outdoor areas designed specifically for elementary-age students. In addition, the campus will provide learning environments that encourage creativity, collaboration, and hands-on discovery.
HASTINGS Architecture is leading the design while also managing site planning, infrastructure analysis, and phased construction efforts. These steps aim to reduce disruptions during the building process.
Supporting Randolph School’s Long-Term Vision
School leaders say the new Lower School represents an important milestone in Randolph’s long-term campus plans. Once completed, the facility will help unite students from PreK through 12th grade on a more cohesive campus while providing additional space for future growth.
The project reflects Randolph School’s continued investment in modern educational spaces that support both students and teachers for years to come.
