The Morgan County Event Center is now open to the public following a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by county officials and local business leaders.
Morgan County Opens New Event Center
The new 34,627-square-foot facility is located at 388 Union Hill Road in Lacey’s Spring.
Officials celebrated the grand opening on June 30 after nearly two years of construction. The project represents a $7.1 million investment designed to provide recreational and community space for Morgan County residents.
The center welcomes visitors of all ages and offers free public access during regular operating hours.
Recreation and Event Spaces Available
The Morgan County Event Center features a variety of amenities for sports, fitness, and community gatherings.
Visitors can enjoy two full-size basketball courts, four volleyball courts, six pickleball courts, and an indoor walking track.
The facility also includes a meeting room with a kitchen that residents can rent for birthday parties, meetings, and other special events.
County leaders say the new center provides flexible space for both recreation and community activities throughout the year.

The event center is open to the public at no cost during designated hours.
The facility operates from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday and remains closed on Sundays.
