Madison has approved plans for Alabama’s first Slick City Action Park, bringing a large-scale indoor entertainment facility to the city in 2027.
First Slick City Action Park approved for Alabama
The Madison City Council approved a contract to develop the park, which will be the first Slick City location in the state. Construction is planned for a 4-acre site at the corner of Plaza Boulevard and Coefer Boulevard.
As a result, Madison will become part of a growing national rollout of the indoor entertainment brand.
Indoor attractions designed for all ages
Slick City Action Park will feature a mix of high-energy attractions. These include signature slides, an air court, laser tag, and an arcade. One of the main attractions, the “Riptide” slide, features a steep drop designed for thrill-seekers.
In addition, the park is expected to offer multiple activity zones aimed at both children and adults.
Opening expected in 2027
The facility is scheduled to open in 2027, marking a new addition to Madison’s expanding entertainment and family recreation options.
