Where & When
Location: 5850 University Drive NW, Suite D2, Huntsville, AL 35806
Opening Date: February 2
A Taste of Japan
Kyuramen’s menu features soups crafted from four signature bases — white, thick, fresh, and fragrant — paired with fresh Japanese-style pork roast, seven-minute boiled eggs, and chopped green onions.
Guests can choose wavy noodles for thick soups or straight noodles for lighter broths. Popular items include the tonkotsu-style ramen, Tokyo-style shoyu ramen, and Hokkaido-style miso ramen.
Local Favorite
The ramen is made from carefully prepared chashu pork, slow-marinated, halogen-cooked, and chilled to perfection for maximum flavor and tenderness. Health-conscious diners will appreciate black garlic, a key ingredient in some dishes, known for its antioxidant and nutritional benefits.
Kyuramen’s founder studied traditional Japanese ramen in Japan before bringing those techniques to Huntsville, aiming to make ramen affordable and approachable for students and local workers alike.
