The 39th Annual Small Business Awards Gala, hosted by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, took place Thursday evening in the Saturn Ballroom of the Von Braun Center. The event recognized outstanding local businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

Russell G. Brown Executive Leadership Award: Dr. Karockas Watkins, Ability Plus, Inc.
In addition to these awards, the Huntsville Association of Small Businesses in Advanced Technology (HASBAT) recognized Jerry Gabig as the Small Business Advocate of the Year, and The Catalyst Center for Business and Entrepreneurship honored Patti Yancey of Stovehouse as Entrepreneur of the Year.
The Small Business Awards Gala is an annual celebration that highlights the exceptional work being done by local businesses and individuals across a range of sectors. Judging and scoring for the event were conducted by Chambers of Commerce outside the Huntsville/Madison County region to ensure impartiality.
