MidCity Crawfish Festival returns with 10,000 pounds of crawfish

The Crawfish Festival will return to Huntsville’s MidCity District on April 18, featuring food, live music, and expanded access for attendees, according to online reports.

Crawfish Festival Returns to MidCity

The event will take place Saturday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at The Camp at MidCity. Organizers say the festival will feature 10,000 pounds of crawfish sourced from Louisiana.

This year, the event will be free to enter. However, attendees can still purchase all-you-can-eat wristbands or individual crawfish servings throughout the day.

Food, Music, and Local Vendors

The festival will center on food and live entertainment. In addition, food trucks, specialty drinks, and local vendors will operate throughout the venue.

Attendees can also expect a full day of live performances. The lineup includes the Calhoun Community College Show Band, followed by regional and local acts. As a result, the event is expected to draw steady foot traffic across the MidCity area.

Live Performances and Community Support

Music programming will continue throughout the day, closing with local headliners. Sponsors include a mix of regional businesses and national brands supporting the event’s growth.

Therefore, the Crawfish Festival continues to position itself as a major seasonal attraction in Huntsville’s entertainment calendar.
