According to online reports, legendary jam band Phish will return to The Orion Amphitheater this October for two nights of live music, marking only the band’s second visit to Huntsville.
Two-night stop planned for October
Phish will perform at The Orion Amphitheater on Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 as part of the venue’s 2026 concert season.
The performances follow the band’s Huntsville debut in 2023, when it launched its summer tour with two sold-out shows at The Orion. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Aug. 14 at 11 a.m., while ticket prices have not yet been announced.
A legendary live music experience
Formed in Vermont in the early 1980s, Phish has built a devoted following through its improvisational performances, extended jams, and unique setlists. The band features Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon, and Page McConnell.
In addition to its music, Phish is known for elaborate lighting productions that make every concert a unique experience. Because no two performances are exactly alike, many fans travel to attend multiple shows on the same tour.
The band also has ties to Alabama after recording portions of its 2014 album Fuego at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals.
Busy October ahead for Huntsville music fans
The October concerts add another major event to an already packed fall lineup at The Orion Amphitheater. Later in the month, Billy Strings will also return for two nights of performances.
However, the Oct. 10 concert falls on the same day that the University of Alabama is scheduled to host Georgia in Tuscaloosa. Even so, Huntsville music fans will have another opportunity to see Phish the following evening when the band returns for its second show at The Orion.
