According to online reports, Huntsville Hospital’s Medical Mall Pharmacy has expanded its operating hours and will now open on Saturdays, giving patients and community members more flexibility when filling prescriptions.
New pharmacy hours begin Aug. 3
The updated schedule took effect on Monday, Aug. 3. The pharmacy now operates from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The pharmacy remains closed on Sundays.
This marks the first time the Medical Mall Pharmacy has offered Saturday service, providing an additional option for customers who cannot visit during the traditional workweek.
More convenient access for patients
In addition to longer hours, the pharmacy continues to offer a drive-through service, allowing customers to pick up medications without leaving their vehicles.
Hospital officials say the expanded schedule aims to make prescription services more convenient for patients, hospital employees, and members of the community. As a result, customers will have greater flexibility when managing medications and fitting pharmacy visits into busy schedules.
Open to the public
The Medical Mall Pharmacy serves hospital patients, Huntsville Hospital employees, and the general public. The pharmacy is located at 1963 Memorial Parkway SW in Huntsville.
Hospital leaders say the expanded hours reflect an ongoing effort to improve access to pharmacy services while making it easier for the community to receive medications and pharmacy care.
