Polaris is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Huntsville by launching a new grant program focused on outdoor recreation and conservation, according to online reports.
Polaris Introduces New Outdoor Grant Program
The company recently announced the Think Outside Grant, a new initiative designed to support nonprofit organizations across North Alabama. Polaris created the program to help expand outdoor opportunities while promoting environmental stewardship throughout the region.
In addition, the grant marks a major community investment as the company celebrates a decade of operations in Huntsville.
Funding Available for Recreation and Conservation Projects
The Think Outside Grant will provide awards ranging from $5,000 to $15,000. Eligible nonprofits can apply for funding to create outdoor experiences, improve recreational access, and protect natural resources.
As a result, local organizations may receive support for projects that help residents connect with nature and enjoy outdoor activities. Applicants must also incorporate National Get Outdoors Day 2027 into their proposed projects.
Community Foundation Will Manage Applications
The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville will oversee the grant program and manage the application process. Meanwhile, Polaris leaders say the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to both outdoor recreation and community engagement.
Local officials welcomed the partnership, noting that North Alabama’s parks, trails, and natural resources play an important role in the region’s quality of life. Therefore, the new grant program could help expand access to outdoor spaces while supporting long-term conservation efforts.
Nonprofits interested in applying can find application details and deadlines through the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville.
