Chase has opened two new bank branches in Alabama this week, continuing its expansion across the state. At the same time, the company plans to open another location in the coming weeks.
First, Chase opened its newest Huntsville branch at 2104 Winchester Road N.E. Shortly after, the bank launched its first branch in the Florence–Muscle Shoals area at Cox Creek and Hough Road. Next, a new Mountain Brook branch is expected to begin serving customers soon.
As a result of these openings, Chase now operates four branches in Huntsville. In addition, the bank has six locations in the Birmingham area and 13 statewide.
A Long-Term Growth Strategy in Alabama
Earlier this year, Chase announced plans to significantly expand its Alabama footprint. Specifically, the bank aims to triple its number of branches by 2030. That plan includes opening 24 new locations and hiring up to 170 employees across the state.
Chase leaders say the goal is accessibility. By expanding into more communities, the bank hopes to place more than half of Alabama’s population within a convenient drive of a branch.
Leadership Focused on Local Presence
In July, JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon visited Birmingham during a regional tour. During the visit, he shared the company’s ambition to become the leading bank in Alabama.
Meanwhile, Muscle Shoals native Jennifer DiSalvo oversees all Chase branches in Alabama and Mississippi. She said opening a branch in her hometown held special meaning.
DiSalvo explained that the expansion allows Chase to serve more Alabamians in person. She emphasized the importance of face-to-face support during major life moments, such as buying a home, purchasing a car, starting a business, or planning for education.
With new branches opening and more on the way, Chase continues to strengthen its presence across Alabama while investing in local communities.
