Winners of Huntsville/Madison County Chamber’s 39th Annual Small Business Awards Gala

The 39th Annual Small Business Awards Gala, hosted by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, took place Thursday evening in the Saturn Ballroom of the Von Braun Center. The event recognized outstanding local businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

 

This year’s winners spanned a wide range of industries, showcasing the diversity and vitality of Huntsville’s small business community. Congratulations to all the honorees:

 

Young Professional of the Year: Jacob Schreiber, H2L Solutions, Inc.

Nonprofit of the Year: Huntsville Botanical Garden

Construction Company of the Year: Ridgeline Construction Roofing & Exteriors

Minority-Owned Business of the Year: AcqCentric, Inc.

Emerging Business of the Year: Towne Park Animal Care Center

Community Impact Award: Rocket City Mom

Professional/Technical Services Business of the Year: H2L Solutions, Inc.

Engineering/Defense Business of the Year (Small): Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc.

Engineering/Defense Business of the Year (Medium): CFD Research Corporation

Engineering/Defense Business of the Year (Large): Intrepid

Veteran-Owned Business of the Year: Victory Solutions, Inc.

Hospitality Services Business of the Year: Valentina’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar

Arts & Recreation Business of the Year: We Rock the Spectrum Huntsville

Retailer of the Year: Sultry Company

Health/Social Services Business of the Year: SportsMED Orthopedic Surgery & Spine Center

Woman-Owned Business of the Year: 4M Research, Inc.

Small Business Champion of the Year: Veronica Cram, InSight Strategic Solutions

Russell G. Brown Executive Leadership Award: Dr. Karockas Watkins, Ability Plus, Inc.

 

In addition to these awards, the Huntsville Association of Small Businesses in Advanced Technology (HASBAT) recognized Jerry Gabig as the Small Business Advocate of the Year, and The Catalyst Center for Business and Entrepreneurship honored Patti Yancey of Stovehouse as Entrepreneur of the Year.

 

The Small Business Awards Gala is an annual celebration that highlights the exceptional work being done by local businesses and individuals across a range of sectors. Judging and scoring for the event were conducted by Chambers of Commerce outside the Huntsville/Madison County region to ensure impartiality.

 

Each year, this event showcases the innovation, leadership, and community spirit that define Huntsville’s business landscape, and this year’s winners are a testament to that excellence. Congratulations to all those who continue to make a positive impact in our region!
