Spring Break camp registration opens next week

Looking for a fun way to keep kids active during spring break? Registration for Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s Spring Break Camps opens Monday, Feb. 9.

The camps run March 16–20 and are open to Huntsville City Schools students in grades 1–6. Families can choose from full-day, half-day, and specialty camp options.

Camp Options and Activities

Huntsville Parks & Recreation will host camps at facilities across the city. Each camp offers a safe, structured environment filled with engaging activities.

Campers will enjoy sports, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play. Along the way, they will build skills, make new friends, and stay active all week.

“Parks & Recreation is excited to offer fun, engaging, and safe programs for families during school breaks,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “Kids get to enjoy their time off, and parents gain peace of mind with affordable and reliable options.”

Cost and Discounts

The camps remain budget-friendly for families with multiple children.

Full-day camps cost $50 per week

Each additional child in the same family is $30

Half-day art and sports camps cost $25 for the first child and $10 for each additional child

Specialty basketball, pickleball, and STEM camps are free
