Matt Curtis Real Estate has completed its 150th home in Central America through its Love Thy Neighbor initiative.
Partnership with Casas por Cristo
The milestone home, built in Guatemala, was constructed in collaboration with Casas por Cristo. It provides a safe, permanent space for a local family and highlights the firm’s ongoing commitment to giving back.
Impact of Love Thy Neighbor
Company President Matt Curtis said the program reflects the firm’s mission to change lives. “There’s no greater joy than seeing a family receive the keys to their first home,” he said. The program donates one home in Central America for every 100 homes sold locally.
Community Celebration
This year’s build included a dedication ceremony, community celebrations, and shared meals. Curtis said the firm plans to continue expanding its services in North Alabama while maintaining the Love Thy Neighbor program as a key part of its mission.
