The Huntsville Beautification Board is accepting nominations for the 2025 Huntsville Beautification Awards. Judging will take place after Memorial Day, and the deadline to submit the entry form along with a $50 fee per nominated property is Monday, April 7.
How to submit your nomination
Payments can be made via PayPal for digital nominations or by check mailed to P.O. Box 738, Huntsville, AL 35804. Checks should be payable to the Huntsville Beautification Board.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible nominees include City of Huntsville-licensed commercial, business, and government properties within the city limits that have been established for at least one year. Properties with an existing Beautification Award must reapply for consideration in 2025.
Judging Criteria
Judging criteria will focus on curb appeal, originality, design distinction, plant quality (trees, shrubs, flowers, ground cover, and grass), maintenance, hardscape elements, and litter control.
Each entry form allows up to five property nominations—lists of properties will not be accepted. Landscapers submitting nominations must provide a copy of their current business license, which can be uploaded with the entry form. Only one license copy is required per landscaper.
