Make Music Day Returns to Huntsville

Music lovers, get ready—Make Music Day is coming back to Huntsville for a full day of free, city-wide performances.

Everyone is invited to join in

This event welcomes everyone. Whether you’re a rising musician, a business owner with a great patio, or a fan planning a backyard concert, you can sign up and be part of the music. Organizers encourage all kinds of performances to help build a vibrant, city-wide soundtrack.

Community groups lead the celebration

The Huntsville Music Office and the Huntsville Hospital Music Therapy Program will host the event. They’re working together to create a platform where musicians of all styles, ages, and skill levels can perform in public spaces around the city.

A global day with local flair

Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella shared his excitement about the event’s return. “We’re thrilled to showcase our community’s musical passions along with so many other cities worldwide for Make Music Day,” he said. “This is our chance to turn up the volume and let everyone—musicians, businesses and neighbors—get in on the fun.”

The event takes place June 21, and participation is free. Sign-ups are open now for anyone who wants to play a role in bringing music to the streets of Huntsville.
