The Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville has earned its third straight nomination for Amphitheater of the Year at the 2024 IEBA Awards. The International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA), a leading non-profit trade organization for live entertainment professionals, hosts one of the industry’s most anticipated annual conferences.
“We’re incredibly honored to be recognized once again by such a well-respected organization like IEBA. It’s a testament to the hard work our team puts in, and it’s rewarding to see our efforts acknowledged not just by artists, managers, and fans, but by the entire industry,” said Ryan Murphy, managing director of the Orion Amphitheater in an interview.
Last year, the award went to The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The 2024 winners will be announced at the IEBA conference in Nashville from October 6-8.
Other nominees include The Gorge Amphitheater (Quincy, Washington), The Hollywood Bowl (Los Angeles), Koka Booth Amphitheatre (Cary, North Carolina), Pine Knob Music Theatre (Clarkston, Michigan), and The St. Augustine Amphitheatre (St. Augustine, Florida).
Since its 2022 opening, The Orion has received numerous accolades, including IEBA Amphitheater of the Year nominations in 2022 and 2023, a 2022 Pollstar nomination for New Concert Venue of the Year, and two awards from Alabama tourism organizations.
