Huntsville has welcomed a new hotel, adding more extended-stay options downtown. Hyatt Studios joins the city as one of the first locations under Hyatt’s newest brand. As a result, visitors now have more flexibility for longer stays.
The hotel offers 120 apartment-style suites. It targets long-term travelers as demand continues to rise across the Huntsville area.
Hyatt leaders say they chose Huntsville because of its rapid growth. In particular, the arrival of U.S. Space Command, a strong military presence, and major investments have drawn national attention. In addition, Eli Lilly’s historic project has helped position Huntsville as a growing hotspot.
A Developer-Driven Approach to Extended Stay
Hyatt Studios focuses on efficiency and flexibility. First, the brand uses smart design to help control construction costs. Next, it relies on a lean operating model to support smooth daily operations.
Moreover, Hyatt Studios falls within the upper-midscale extended-stay category. The brand also allows each location to tailor design elements to local market needs.

Guests can relax or work in a welcoming lobby. The space includes lounge seating and a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast. Additionally, the hotel features a 24-hour market with items guests can prepare in their in-room kitchens.
Furthermore, the property offers a workout facility. These amenities support both comfort and convenience during longer stays.
Studio-Style Suites With Flexible Space
Each suite delivers the feel of a studio apartment. The rooms provide extra space for work or daily living. For example, guests can create a dedicated workspace or separate it from the kitchen and living area.

Growing Hyatt Studios Footprint
Hyatt introduced the Hyatt Studios brand in 2023. Since then, the company has opened its first location in Mobile’s Tillmans Corner. At the same time, developers have broken ground on four additional Hyatt Studios hotels.
With this Huntsville opening, Hyatt continues expanding the brand while supporting the city’s long-term growth.
