Huntsville, Alabama, will host the 2024 AVCA Beach National Championships from November 15–17. This event, presented by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), brings top collegiate beach volleyball teams to Alabama. John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex will be the Women’s Pairs and Men’s Team Championships venue.

ToggleWomen’s Pairs Championship Set for November 15–17, 2024
The Women’s Pairs Championship will run from November 15–17. Sixty-four pairs from college beach volleyball programs across the U.S. will compete. This national championship includes Division I, Division II, and Division III athletes. Schools earned bids based on their performances in the spring of 2024. Huntsville first hosted this landmark event in 2022 and is thrilled to welcome it again.
Men’s Team Championship Scheduled for November 16–17, 2024
The Men’s Team National Championship, from November 16–17, is a first in men’s collegiate beach volleyball. Four teams, including Erskine College and Liberty University, will compete. Stevenson University and Webber International University also join the lineup. This historic tournament reflects the AVCA’s commitment to advancing men’s beach volleyball at the collegiate level.
John Hunt Park – premier venue in Huntsville
The event’s venue is John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex at 2305 Airport Rd SW. The 15-court facility, built in 2019, focuses on athlete safety and performance. The location is convenient and well-prepared with Huntsville International Airport nearby and HSC Preferred Hotels for visitors.

Hosting the AVCA Beach National Championships highlights Huntsville’s role in collegiate beach volleyball.
