The City of Huntsville is excited to announce the return of the annual North Alabama Health & Wellness Fair, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Calhoun Community College in Huntsville. This free event offers a wonderful opportunity for residents to take charge of their health with a variety of essential screenings and resources available throughout the day.
Participants will have access to free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol monitoring, and mental health assessments, such as depression screenings. In addition to these valuable services, attendees can enjoy healthy snacks, enter prize giveaways, and gather information from various wellness resources designed to support long-term healthy living.
To kick off the event, a special “Walk for Healthy Living” will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon, encouraging everyone to stay active and enjoy the benefits of physical fitness. Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the event, ensuring accessibility for everyone in the community.
