Huntsville Music Office brings North Alabama talent to AMERICANAFEST

Huntsville Music Office is taking North Alabama sounds to Nashville this September during Huntsville Music Month. The city’s artists will be featured at two Official AMERICANAFEST Special Events, connecting local talent with a national audience.

Muscle Shoals Meets the Rocket City

On Tuesday, September 9, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Martin’s BBQ in downtown Nashville will host this FAME Recording Studios–presented event in partnership with the Huntsville Music Office. The lineup pairs Southern culinary flavors with regional music talent.

Attendees can expect the raw energy of Common Man, Karmessa’s soul-stirring vocals, and the family harmonies of The LeBlanc Family Band. Rising star Kensie Coppin will share the stage with Steve Knight and GRAMMY® winner Mike Farris. The night promises powerhouse performances that celebrate the musical legacy of Muscle Shoals and Huntsville’s growing scene.

Rocket City Ramble

Returning for its second year, the Rocket City Ramble takes place Thursday, September 11, from 12 to 5 p.m. at Acme Feed & Seed on Broadway. Presented by the Huntsville Music Office and local partners including the Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau, FAME Recording Studios, and Wrangler, the five-hour event features both new and established talent.

Performers include The Burney Sisters, soulful storyteller Hollan, and the electrifying Jayne & The Huntsmen. Audience favorites The LeBlanc Family Band and Mike Farris & Steve Knight will also perform, alongside Treetop & The Gifted, delivering high-energy sets that showcase Huntsville’s creative momentum.

Showcasing Huntsville on a National Stage

“We’re excited about opportunities like this that put local talent on a national stage,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “Bringing North Alabama’s best to Nashville reinforces our position as one of the country’s most exciting music hubs within the Americana Music Triangle.”

Both events are free and open to AMERICANAFEST badge holders and the public, space permitting
