Huntsville Hospital ER entrance moving due to tower expansion

Huntsville Hospital is changing its emergency room entrance due to construction on the Madison Street Tower, according to an online report. Starting Saturday, Jan. 11, visitors must use the Gallatin Street entrance.

Temporary Entrance and Road Closures

St. Clair Avenue, between Madison and Gallatin streets, will close to through traffic. Visitors should follow signs placed throughout the medical district to find the new entrance.

Project Timeline and Impact

The Madison Street entrance will remain closed for about two years during the construction. This temporary adjustment ensures emergency room access while the expansion continues.
