Huntsville International Airport continues to set new passenger records. In July, the airport saw a 16.7% increase in traffic compared to July 2024, keeping HSV on track to surpass last year’s record.
Record Month for Passengers
After June became the busiest month in HSV history with 160,455 passengers, July topped that total by nearly 8,000 travelers. The airport is already approaching 1 million passengers for the year.
A Historic Year for HSV
Three of the busiest months in airport history have occurred in 2025. In May, HSV set a record, which was then broken in June and again in July. Each month has shown strong growth, with year-to-date totals at 991,320 passengers—an increase of 6.5% over last year.
Monthly Traffic Trends
Passenger traffic has steadily increased across the first seven months of 2025. Highlights include January with 117,085 total passengers (+13.7% over 2024) and July with 168,281 total passengers (+16.7%). These numbers demonstrate Huntsville’s growing role as a major travel hub in the region.
