The Athens City Council this week approved an economic development agreement to move forward with a new commercial retail shopping center on the southern end of Braly Boulevard, near I-65 and U.S. 72, according to online reports.
Upcoming Retail Options
One of the anticipated tenants for the shopping center is Hobby Lobby, a major arts and crafts retailer founded in 1972. With more than 950 locations nationwide, Hobby Lobby offers a wide range of products including home décor, fabrics and sewing supplies, DIY crafting materials, art supplies, floral accessories, yarn, and baking essentials.
Creative Inspiration for Everyone
Hobby Lobby provides a space for creative enthusiasts and DIY hobbyists to explore artistic projects and seasonal decorations throughout the year. Shoppers can find inspiration for home décor, crafting, and festive seasonal displays.
Planning Your Visit
Visitors can stay updated on weekly deals, special promotions, store hours, and directions for local Hobby Lobby locations. The new possible Athens store is expected to bring additional shopping and creative opportunities to the community.
