Heads up: Huntsville Utilities closing for upgrades August 1 & 11

Huntsville Utilities will temporarily close its administrative offices on two dates this August to install a new enterprise software system.

Office Closures on August 1 and 11

All administrative offices, including the Drive Through Payment Center at 1100 Pulaski Pike, will be closed on Friday, August 1, and Monday, August 11, 2025. This also applies to the Customer Service Contact Center and the “My Account” portal on www.hsvutil.org.

These closures are necessary to complete system upgrades and ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.

Plan Ahead to Avoid Delays

Huntsville Utilities encourages customers to take care of any account-related needs before August 1 or after August 11. During the transition, some payment processing may experience delays. However, no late fees will be charged, and no services will be disconnected during this time.

New App Launches August 11

On August 11, customers can download the new mobile app, MyHSVUTIL, from the App Store or Google Play. This will be the only app that connects directly to your Huntsville Utilities account for payments, usage, and alerts.

Please be aware that the SmartHub app, while commonly used by other utilities, will not work for Huntsville Utilities accounts starting August 11. To avoid confusion, make sure to download only the HSVUTIL app on or after that date.
