Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen

A family-friendly restaurant chain called Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen serves a selection of beverages in addition to traditional American comfort food with a Texas twist. Their menu features dishes like grilled salmon served with red beans and rice and country green beans. While the salmon was delicious, the red beans and rice were not what one might expect from New Orleans-style cuisine, as they lacked seasoning other than salt. The green beans reminded some patrons of their grandmothers’ cooking, prepared with pork.
