A long-running Huntsville restaurant is preparing to close after nearly three decades in business, according to online reports.
Tellini’s Italiano Set to Close
Tellini’s Italiano on University Drive is expected to close its doors by Saturday, April 4, if not sooner. The restaurant first opened in 1997 and has served the community for nearly 30 years.
Known for Casual Italian Favorites
The restaurant built a reputation for offering a casual dining experience with a menu centered on pizza, pasta, and paninis. In addition, it provided both dine-in and drive-thru options for convenience.
Over the years, Tellini’s became a familiar spot for affordable Italian-style meals, drawing a steady customer base and maintaining strong online reviews.
Closure Marks the End of an Era
Workers indicated that the closure will happen soon, although a specific reason was not shared publicly. As a result, longtime customers will soon lose a well-known dining option in the area.
Tellini’s is part of a small chain with another location in Tupelo. The Huntsville closure represents the end of a long-standing presence in the local restaurant scene.
