A luxury waterfront estate on Smith Lake has set a new sales record after selling for $5 million, making it the highest-priced home ever sold on the North Alabama lake.
A record-breaking sale on Smith Lake
According to online reports, the lakefront property is located at 390 County Road 2015 in Crane Hill.
The estate spans nearly seven acres and includes more than 1,200 feet of shoreline along Smith Lake. Its combination of acreage, privacy and extensive waterfront helped distinguish it from other luxury properties in the region.
The sellers were represented by Lake Homes Realty agents John Robert Elliott and Justin Dyar.
The new benchmark for North Alabama luxury
The $5 million transaction surpasses the previous Smith Lake residential record of $4.345 million, which was set in March 2025.
Real estate professionals say the sale reflects continued demand for premium waterfront homes across North Alabama. Large parcels with significant shoreline remain some of the rarest properties available on Smith Lake.
As a result, the latest sale establishes a new benchmark for luxury real estate in one of Alabama’s most sought-after lake communities.
