SafeSplash is preparing to open a new location near Bridge Street, offering swim lessons for toddlers, children, teens, and adults in Huntsville.
Swim lessons for every age and skill level
The new swim school will provide year-round instruction for swimmers of all experience levels, from beginners learning basic water safety to more advanced students building confidence and refining their technique.
SafeSplash focuses on helping students develop essential swimming skills in a supportive environment. In addition, the school emphasizes water safety, confidence, and lifelong aquatic education through structured lessons led by trained instructors.
The new location will be at 6884 Governors W NW, with an official opening date still to be announced.
Local leadership with a focus on water safety
The Huntsville location is led by Managing Partner and Vice President of Operations Kristin Stitt, who launched SafeSplash in Madison County after years of advocating for swim education and water safety. Her background in healthcare and systems management has helped shape the school’s mission of improving community wellness through swimming.
The leadership team also includes Director of Operations Jeffrey Storry, who brings more than a decade of experience creating safe and welcoming swim programs for children and families.
Building confidence in and around the water
General Manager Felipe brings nearly 20 years of coaching experience, having worked with swimmers ranging from beginners to athletes competing at the national level. Throughout his career, he has coached several successful swim programs while promoting greater access to aquatic education across the community.
Furthermore, SafeSplash aims to make swimming accessible to families of all backgrounds by teaching a skill that can improve confidence, encourage physical activity, and help keep children and adults safer around the water. Once open, the Bridge Street location will expand those opportunities for Huntsville-area families.
