Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is expanding in North Alabama with a third Huntsville-area location planned for Town Madison, joining its existing restaurants in Huntsville and Clift Farm.
Famous for handcrafted sandwiches
Founded in 1976 in Wilmington, Delaware, Capriotti’s has built a national reputation for handcrafted sandwiches made with fresh ingredients and traditional preparation methods.
One of the restaurant’s signature items is The Bobbie, a year-round Thanksgiving-inspired sandwich featuring slow-roasted turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayonnaise. The chain is also known for its cheesesteaks, which are made fresh to order and offered with a variety of toppings and protein options.
Additionally, the menu includes cold sandwiches, salads, soups, and premium specialty creations.
Fresh ingredients prepared daily
Capriotti’s sets itself apart by preparing many of its ingredients in-house. The restaurant slow-roasts whole Butterball turkeys overnight before hand-pulling the meat fresh each morning for its sandwiches.
The chain also offers premium cheesesteaks made with a range of proteins, including American Wagyu beef, grilled chicken, and plant-based alternatives. As a result, customers can choose from both classic favorites and more premium sandwich options.
Expanding in the Huntsville area
The new restaurant will be located in Town Madison, continuing Capriotti’s growth across the Huntsville metro. An official opening date has not yet been announced.
Once the new location opens, it will become the brand’s third restaurant in the area, giving more residents convenient access to the sandwich shop’s signature menu and handcrafted offerings.
