Pickleball players in Huntsville will soon have a new place to play year-round. According to online reports, Pickleball Kingdom is planning to open a large indoor pickleball facility at Stovehouse.
Indoor pickleball coming to Huntsville
The upcoming facility will be located at 3414 Governors Drive SW, Huntsville, AL 35805, inside the Stovehouse development.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the indoor complex is expected to open soon and will provide players with a climate-controlled environment for recreation, leagues, and competitive play.
A rapidly expanding national brand
According to online reports, Pickleball Kingdom opened its first location in Chandler, Arizona, in 2022. Following its initial success, the company began expanding through franchising and has continued to grow its footprint with locations planned across the United States.
The concept was created to give players an indoor alternative where weather conditions such as heat, rain, wind, and cold won’t interrupt play.
Designed for players of every skill level
According to online reports, Pickleball Kingdom locations are designed to serve beginners, recreational players, and experienced competitors alike.
Many facilities feature multiple indoor courts, viewing areas, a pro shop, snack bar, locker rooms, and spaces that encourage community events and organized play.
Once open, the Huntsville location will add another recreational option for local residents while supporting the city’s growing interest in pickleball, one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports.
