Huntsville’s $220 million Front Row development has launched residential pre-leasing ahead of its first move-ins scheduled for June 2026.
Pre-Leasing Begins for The Residences at Front Row
The Residences at Front Row mark the housing component of a major mixed-use project rising across from the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville.
Developed by Essex Capital and Ascend Property Group, the project combines apartments, Class-A office space, retail and public gathering areas in one walkable destination.
The development’s new website is now live, allowing prospective residents to browse floor plans, request pricing and schedule tours. Units range from studios to multi-bedroom apartments.
Resort-Style Amenities in the Heart of Downtown
Two residential buildings will feature resort-style pool decks with outdoor gaming areas, lounge spaces and cooking stations.
Additional amenities include coworking lounges and rooftop outdoor areas overlooking a central urban green space designed to anchor the project.
In total, nearly 50,000 square feet of experiential retail is planned, with future announcements expected for office, retail and food and beverage tenants.
Connecting to Downtown Growth
Front Row’s timeline aligns with other major downtown projects, including expansion plans near Big Spring Park and a pedestrian skybridge that will connect downtown to Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment.
Developers say the project is designed to serve as a central hub with convenient access to the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Redstone Arsenal and Cummings Research Park, further expanding residential options in the city’s rapidly growing urban core.
