The upcoming “All Star Salute to ’90s Country” concert at the Von Braun Center has expanded its already star-studded lineup.
Newly Announced Artists Join the Show
Several major names have been added to the February 5 concert, including Jamey Johnson, Aaron Lewis, Janie Fricke, The Forester Sisters, Lee Greenwood, Michael Ray, Aaron Tippin, Terry McBride of McBride & The Ride, Carlene Carter, T. Graham Brown, Ken Mellons, and Eric Blankenship. Organizers say these additions further elevate what is shaping up to be one of Huntsville’s biggest country music events of the year.
Original Lineup Packed with ’90s Country Icons
The original lineup, announced last fall, already featured a long list of artists who defined country music in the 1990s. That group includes Rhett Akins, Tracy Byrd, Deana Carter, Mark Chesnutt, Billy Dean, Wade Hayes, Ty Herndon, Neal McCoy, Lorrie Morgan, Tanya Tucker, Collin Raye, Doug Stone, Bryan White, Mark Wills, and many more. Together, the artists scheduled to perform are credited with more than 60 No. 1 hits and over 50 million albums sold, with more than 40 performances planned for the night.
What Makes This Tribute Unique
Unlike most tribute shows where performers cover other artists’ songs, this concert will feature singers performing the hits that made them famous. A few exceptions include special tribute performances, with Jamey Johnson honoring George Jones and Aaron Lewis paying tribute to Waylon Jennings. The event will be recorded for a future television broadcast and is produced by LMA Productions, the same company behind past tribute shows at the VBC honoring country legends.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Von Braun Center Box Office, with prices starting at $98.15 before taxes.
