Jazz in the Park 

Join week three of Jazz in the Park-Huntsville 2024! New York guitarist JJ Sansaverino will headline week three, with Miami-based Latin band Tony & The Kings and Nina Marie opening. The theme is Heritage Night, so join in celebrating the start of Hispanic Heritage Month with Tony & The Kings bringing some Miami heat! Bring a chair or blanket, enjoy nearby food trucks and restaurants and interact with local nonprofits, while you enjoy music from some of the nation’s best jazz musicians!

International Observe the Moon Night 

It’s the time again to come together with fellow Moon enthusiasts and curious people worldwide. This International Observe the Moon Night, everyone on Earth is invited to learn about lunar science and exploration, participate in celestial observations, and honor cultural and personal connections to the Moon. Huntsville has a FREE event inside the Space and Rocket Center. See you there!

Brain Games

If you enjoy board games or simply want to learn more about Stay Sharp kits, join for any of the scheduled activities this weekend! There will be Bingo style games, putting together puzzles and playing two different trivia games and enjoying some adult coloring! All ages and abilities are welcome!

School Instrument Drive


The Huntsville Music Office is proud to work with Huntsville City Schools, Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation, Maitland Arts Initiative and Madison County Commissioner Phil Riddick to put instruments into the hands of more students through a month long citywide instrument drive starting this September 15.
