Rocket City Marathon
The Rocket City Marathon has been a fixture in North Alabama for over 45 years. Enjoy a scenic Boston qualifying course that runs through parts of historic Huntsville, through the Space & Rocket Center, through the Botanical Gardens, and finishes inside the Von Braun Center.
Date: December 13-15, 2024
Schedule: The Rocket City 10K and Mural Run 5K will be held on December 14. The Marathon and Half-Marathons (Front Half and Back Half) will occur the next day.

Nerdy Noel
Alabama’s ONLY holiday market that’s JUST for the NERDS! Come out and shop with over 50 local and regional artists & vendors, all selling nerdy, gaming, anime, comic, sci-fi, fantasy, and pop culture-themed items. In addition to 50+ vendors, there will be face painting, cosplay, prize drawings, rescue bunnies to meet & greet, and more.

Christkindlmarket Huntsville
Arts Huntsville and the Orion Amphitheatre have teamed up again for Huntsville’s Christkindlmarket at the Orion Amphitheatre. This unique shopping experience will feature over 60 artists showcasing a variety of mediums.
