The John Hunt Park Festival Grounds in Huntsville will come alive with the flavors of jerk chicken, curried goat, and more, plus unique crafts and goods from local vendors.

Enjoy live reggae and Soca music, and watch vibrant Caribbean dance performances. With free activities for all ages, it’s a fantastic day out for the whole family. Grab your lawn chairs and enjoy the festive vibes!

Music Run 5K 🏃‍♂️ 🎸 🏅

Celebrate 50 years of the Von Braun Center with our #VBC50 5k Music Run on August 31 in Downtown Huntsville! This unique event combines running and music, with live performances from local musicians along the entire race route, courtesy of the Huntsville Music Office. From start to finish, you’ll be treated to incredible sounds that will keep you moving and grooving throughout the course.

Every runner gets a commemorative medal, and those registered by August 5th will receive exclusive #VBC50 swag. Don’t miss this unique event celebrating five decades of memories at the VBC.

Visit the Huntsville Botanical Garden for a magical journey through the Glass in Flight exhibit, where 21 breathtaking, larger-than-life glass sculptures capture the beauty of nature’s pollinators. Open from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm on August 31, this exhibit offers a unique opportunity to explore art and nature intertwined in a captivating display.

Wedding Resale Pop-Up👰‍♀️💍🛍️

Calling all brides! Whether you’re looking to sell your wedding décor or find great bargains, the Wedding Resale and Vendor Pop-up at EarlyWorks Children’s Museum is the place to be on August 31, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This unique event offers recent brides a chance to rehome their wedding items and upcoming brides the opportunity to find beautiful decorations at great prices. Alongside the resale, local wedding vendors will be present to showcase their services and share ideas on how they can make your big day even more memorable.
