The City of Muscle Shoals announced that two new restaurant chains are coming to a mixed-use medical and dining development at 2411 Avalon Avenue.
The project, led by McCoy Parker Investments, will include Uncle Maddio’s Pizza, set to open this spring, and Beignets & Brew, scheduled for later in the year.
Uncle Maddio’s brings customizable dining to Muscle Shoals
Uncle Maddio’s Pizza, an Atlanta-based chain, specializes in customizable pizzas, gluten-free and vegan options, hand-chopped salads, calzones, wings, and desserts. The new Muscle Shoals location will feature an outdoor patio for diners to enjoy.
“Muscle Shoals has a family-driven spirit, and we are excited to become a part of it,” said Jim Smith, CEO and president of Uncle Maddio’s Pizza.
Beignets & Brew expands its Alabama presence
Destin-based Beignets & Brew, known for its New Orleans-style beignets and specialty coffee served in a French bistro-inspired modern setting, is also expanding beyond Muscle Shoals.
In addition to its Gate 9 location in Huntsville, the chain is planning new restaurants in Madison, Decatur, and a second Huntsville location. The Madison restaurant is expected to open in a month, with Decatur following in the first quarter of 2025, and the Arcadia Huntsville location by the second quarter. An Auburn location is also in development.
