Two established companies are growing their presence in the Rocket City and creating more than 700 high-paying jobs.
City Council Approves Incentives
The Huntsville City Council voted Thursday to provide financial incentives to support the expansions. The funding will help cover recruitment, training, and relocation costs for incoming workers. City leaders say these investments strengthen Huntsville’s reputation as a hub for advanced industries.
Parsons and Performance Drone Works Growing Locally
The two companies driving the growth are Parsons Corporation and Performance Drone Works LLC. Both already have strong ties to Huntsville. Their decision to expand here, instead of elsewhere, shows confidence in the city’s workforce and business climate.
A Win for Long-Term Growth
Urban and Economic Development Director Shane Davis said the announcement reflects Huntsville’s long-term economic momentum. “We do a lot of work recruiting new corporations to Huntsville, but we love to see the ones who have been here a long time take the opportunity to expand in our city,” he said.
