A new workforce-focused event is bringing together students and employers across the Huntsville area.
Career Fair for Graduating Seniors
The Senior Sprint Career Fair is a collaboration between the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce and local school systems, including Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools, and Madison County Schools.
The event is designed to help graduating seniors who may not yet have post-graduation plans explore career paths, training programs, and job opportunities. It aims to bridge the gap between high school and the workforce by connecting students with potential employers.
Local Employers Participating
Several major employers are expected to take part in the event, including organizations such as Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, L3Harris Technologies, and BASF Corporation. Local institutions such as Huntsville Hospital and Huntsville Utilities are also among participants.
Additional employers are expected to join, offering a wide range of opportunities across industries.
Event Details
The career fair will be held at First Baptist Church of Huntsville on Tuesday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to attend and open to graduating seniors across the participating school districts.
By bringing together education and industry, the event aims to support students in making informed decisions about their next steps after high school while strengthening the local workforce pipeline.
