Jeff’s Bagel Run, a Florida-based bagel chain, is expanding to the Rocket City with two new locations in Huntsville and Madison.
A Local Favorite Expands
The Huntsville location will be at 975 Airport Rd SW #20, and the Madison location will be at 12181 County Line Rd. Exact opening dates have not yet been announced. Known for their authentic New York-style bagels that are “always boiled, never toasted,” Jeff’s Bagel Run has built a loyal following across Florida and North Carolina before bringing their signature bagels to Alabama.
How It All Started
After relocating to Central Florida in 2016, Jeff and Danielle Perera sought the New York-style bagels Danielle grew up with. In 2019, following a layoff, the couple started delivering freshly baked bagels door-to-door in their community. The overwhelming response quickly turned their home kitchen operation into a thriving business. By June 2021, Jeff’s Bagel Run opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Ocoee, Florida, with Danielle leaving her corporate job to join the venture full-time.
Growth and Expansion
Since then, Jeff’s Bagel Run has expanded to multiple locations across Florida, with additional shops in Wake Forest and Charlotte, North Carolina. Each new opening has introduced communities to scratch-made, authentic bagels and signature spreads, building a growing fanbase that continues to support the brand as it arrives in Huntsville and Madison.
Jeff and Danielle Perera aim to bring the same warm, inviting experience to Alabama, letting locals enjoy freshly baked bagels, coffee, and a taste of New York tradition.
