Huntsville Country Club is entering a new chapter with ownership consolidation and planned upgrades to its golf course.
New Leadership, Bold Vision
After 12 years of group ownership, Beth Boyer has assumed sole ownership of the Huntsville Country Club. “The best days of Huntsville Country Club are ahead,” Boyer said, emphasizing the club’s rich history and strong membership. She plans to build on that foundation with improvements that blend tradition and innovation.
Golf Course Enhancements
The club is adding a 9,500-square-foot putting green featuring an 18-hole course situated between the clubhouse and the 10th tee.
The green will be lit for evening play, supporting events like after-work putting games, family nights, member tournaments, and casual gatherings.
Returning to its roots, the club will also introduce a playable “19th hole,” a par-3 running parallel to the 10th hole, creating a signature experience for golfers. Upgrades will also be made to the driving range and short game areas.
A Focus on Experience
Brad Story, Director of Golf, said the renovations reflect the club’s commitment to honoring its history while enhancing member enjoyment. Construction is already underway, with some features expected to open later this season.
These changes position Huntsville Country Club to combine its historic charm with modern amenities, offering both longtime members and newcomers a refreshed and engaging golf experience.
