Fashion Weekend Alabama and Awards is returning to Huntsville September 25-26, bringing designers, boutiques and members of Alabama’s creative community together for a weekend focused on fashion.
A preview of this year’s runway
Ahead of the event, local designer Ellena LeJeune and Ferren Boutique owner Madison McFerren offered a look at some of the styles and talent expected during the weekend.
The event will highlight regional designers while giving local boutiques an opportunity to showcase their work. It will also recognize contributions to Alabama’s fashion and creative industries.
Two days of fashion events
The 2026 Fashion Weekend will begin Friday, September 25, with a VIP Fashion Mixer scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The weekend will continue Saturday with the finale runway show at 7 p.m.
The program is part of a broader effort by the Alabama Fashion Alliance to connect fashion professionals, businesses and creatives across the state.
More fashion events are planned
The Alabama Fashion Alliance also has a Women in Fashion Brunch scheduled for October 10, giving the organization another opportunity to spotlight women working in the fashion community.
